Scripture: Jeremiah 31:27-34

In our Scripture text, we read that God has written God’s promise to us on our hearts, so that we will know it always. God promises us that we are God’s people, we are loved, and we are forgiven.

Cut a heart out of paper, and write on the heart:

I am God’s beloved child.

I am loved.

I am forgiven.

After you have done this, discuss these questions:

• How does it feel to write these words?
• Is it easy or hard to believe the words you have just written? Why?

Hang your heart somewhere you will see it, and be reminded that God’s promises are for YOU!
