Scripture: Matthew 5:14-16
Jesus once said, “You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others.” (Matthew 5:14-15, NRSV) However, sometimes shining our light can be hard, especially in familiar places like our home or around people who know us best. But when we realize that God is with us, it is possible to shine our light. That’s because it is God’s light that is shining through us. Today, let God shine God's light in you and through you.
