Scripture: Matthew 6:19-21
In today's Scripture passage, we are challenged to store up "treasures in heaven." What does this mean? We don't have to earn our way to heaven; we are saved by God's grace through our faith. Through Jesus' death and resurrection, we are united with God forever! But, that doesn't mean we don't have to do something to grow our relationship with God. In a world where it is easy for us to be distracted by our own wants and needs, it's important for us to remember that we should always stay focused on Jesus and growing our relationship with a God who always loves us. Then, our hearts will be filled with God's love.
