Pray- July 1, 2020

Scripture: Psalm 130:5-7

Pray this prayer together: God, it is hard to wait. It is hard to sit in the unknown, wondering what might come tomorrow or the next day. Sometimes we wait for joyful moments like a project to take shape, trips, birthdays, or time with family and friends. Other times we wait for test results, healing, messages from those we love, or moments with people we have not seen in a very long time. It is hard to wait. Today we wait for (name things that you are waiting for). Thank you for being with us while we wait. Help us remember we are not alone, you are with us. Amen.

Or, pray this breath prayer together: (Breathe in) My whole body hopes (Breathe out) as I wait for God’s promise. Amen.
