Pray- July 2, 2020

Scripture: Matthew 22:11

Pray this prayer together: God, we stand before you in the bodies you created. When we look in the mirror and doubt the beauty of your creation, clothe us in acceptance as we hear your words: “You are wonderfully made.� When we experience hatred or injustice, shield and protect us, wrapping us in your loving arms. When we hurt another person with our words or actions, dress us in courage as we repent, ask for forgiveness, and do the work towards reconciliation. God, you created every person we meet. You call us to get dressed in the clothes that matter, putting on: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help us to see the beauty in every person we meet. Amen.
