Read Be Brave Little Penguin by Rachel Elliot. If you can't find a copy of the book, follow along with the reading below. This story shows Little Penguin facing his fear of the water. He has a friend, the seal, who is with him when he splashes into the water for the first time.

After reading the story, discuss these questions:

• How did the little penguin feel after facing his fears?
• What did he do, in turn, for his friend the polar bear?
• How can you face something you’re scared of today, with God’s help?
• Is there someone else you can help to be brave, and face a fear of theirs today?
